About Us
Apollo Temperature Controllers was formed by Mark Ialapi in 1981, with the goal not to be the biggest, but to give customers a one-on-one personal experience. That proved to be a recipe for success. In 1985, Ed Drzewiecki, a long-time friend of Mark’s and owner of East Town Heating, merged his business with Apollo’s. The name was changed to Apollo Heating & Cooling Inc.
The original location on Van Dyke in Warren was soon outgrown. Apollo Heating & Cooling is now permanently located on Harper Avenue in St. Clair Shores. Just like in Warren, the residents of the Shores have a thriving community and support local businesses.
Over the years we have installed all major brands of heating and cooling equipment, primarily featuring the Carrier brand. Customers are always welcome to stop in and see us anytime or during the Annual Harper Cruise every summer on the last Wednesday in August.
